As the reality of these words sank in and I sensed the Lord encouraging me to apply the truths to my life, an emotional dam broke inside of me and I sobbed and sobbed with the beauty and healing of the truth that God is lovingly sovereign and there is nothing I or anyone in my life or any situation in my life can do to change that truth. The joy of that truth was cemented deeply into my inner being that day--often challenged in the life experiences of the following years, but such a real touch from the Lord that I could never disbelieve it. It became the unmoveable, steadfast rock of my life that scripture says God and his truth are to us.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15231023200596634542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9119980191867968111.post-75184464227243015852011-05-14T09:47:39.547-05:002011-05-14T09:47:39.547-05:00"young senior citizen (oxymoron!)" haha!..."young senior citizen (oxymoron!)" haha! It's a challenging one!

Thanks for reading and for commenting. It's very encouraging. :)daciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02970850664200290442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9119980191867968111.post-16822076869572039552011-05-13T21:09:39.601-05:002011-05-13T21:09:39.601-05:00And your insights into your own immaturity are the...And your insights into your own immaturity are the sign that you are on your way to maturity! You go, girl! That passage in Habbakuk is exactly the word the Lord used to break my control and arrogance when I was in my 20s! I LOVE THAT LITTLE BOOK! Chandler is absolutely right on and it is so exciting to me as a young senior citizen (oxymoron!) to see the next generation of Christian leaders grabbing hold of these truths. Fabulous! Thank you, Lord! I love you! And thank you, Dacia, for sharing this. It made my night!Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15231023200596634542noreply@blogger.com
